Amiri Baraka (formerly LeRoi Jones) is a poet, playwright, and essayist, whose 1960s play, Dutchman, became a standard for students of revolutionary theatre. Baraka reads poems from The Music: Reflections on Jazz and Blues and discusses how he often uses his work as a way to raise his voice against racism and the inequities of the American political system.
